Dalhousie postdocs are in collective bargaining...

What do we deserve?

Increase to the minimum salary

The same health benefits as other Dal employees

The same health benefits as other Dal employees

Dal is not willing to ensure a living wage according to the numbers on their own website, even though the additional cost to them - to give all postdocs a living wage - would be approximately 15% of the Dalhousie president's annual salary.

Other Dal employees have a Health Spending Account of at least $750 - so why are they only proposing $500 for postdocs?

Annual cost of living adjustments

Annual cost of living adjustments

Other Dal employees got annual cost of living adjustments of 3% (2022), 2.5% (2023) and 2.5% (2024), yet they've proposed that postdocs should get 0% (2022 and 2023), 1% (2024) and 1.5% (2025).

Why do they value us less than other employees?
