Current Dalhousie University Postdoctoral Fellow Employees that are a Member In Good Standing (MIGS) of PSAC Local 86001. To become a MIGS you must sign a Union membership card (this is free to do). As your physical card will not arrive for a while, please contact vote_hal@psac-afpc.comwith the email confirmation of your signed card so that we can confirm your eligibility to vote. You must attend an information session to be able to vote.

We are voting whether or not to accept the tentative agreement that we have for a new collective agreement. The options are that you are in favour or are not in favour of the tentative agreement. If we voted not to accept the tentative agreement, our strike mandate is still valid.

Unlike with the strike vote, there is no legislative requirement for the minimum number of our bargaining unit that are required to vote, however, we encourage every member to get out to vote.
